Day 1
A two-hour flight
Nonstop from Orange County to Los Cabos, two hours and twenty minutes. A car at the curb, thirty minutes to a resort on the corridor with a private hospital ten minutes away. Ground-floor suite, a plunge pool off the terrace, dinner in the room.
Days 2 to 3
Two slow days
Breakfast on the terrace, the spa in the late morning with the prenatal protocol Lauren sent ahead, a shaded daybed by the calmer pool. One dinner out, at a garden restaurant in San José del Cabo's art district.
Day 4
The whales, from the shore
The humpbacks winter off the cape from December to March and pass close enough to watch from a shaded point on the corridor, with a thermos and nowhere to be. Afternoon nap. Dinner at a farm restaurant in the hills above San José.
Day 5
Nothing planned
Lauren leaves this day empty on purpose. The kitchen has the list, the concierge has her number, and the only appointment is a late lunch under the palapa.
Day 6
The journey home
Late check-out requested through the office, subject to availability, with a place to rest if the room is needed earlier. The car is timed to the confirmed flight. Any follow-up care remains with your own clinician.
